Our Services

We can handle the whole project from beginning to end, acting as your contact for all contractors, professional bodies, and government bodies in France. We will help you to select contractors and intervene at every point in the purchase process, giving advice and ensuring that your interests are represented in all purchase contracts. We will physically inspect all aspects of the work, and formulate any correspondence on your behalf. We will vet and explain all contracts and documents before passing them onto you for signature. We shall send you photographic evidence of the work as it advances and advise you when to release funds. The below services are offered in totality for the entire building project, and include two years support following completion, however, you may wish to remove certain aspects of these services and select those which you wish us to handle, keeping those which you feel comfortable with for yourself. In such circumstances please consult us for a corresponding reduction in our fees:

Finding and Purchasing Your Plot

We will collect you from the nearest airport and take you to visit several plots of land which meet the selection criteria you had previously communicated to us
We will negotiate the land purchase on your behalf, formulating or vetting any contracts before requesting your signature
We will assist you at the notaire’s (lawyer’s) office the day you sign the final purchase agreement (you must be there in person)

Builder Selection

We will find you a selection of builders and negotiate prices, and terms and conditions on your behalf
We will review and validate the said contract before forwarding it for your approval
We will be present at the meeting with builder where you will finalise the scope of work

Service Providers

We will contact the utility companies, and find you a sub-contactor to undertake the trenches, access, cabling and piping on your behalf. This will also include contract negotiation. We will act as your go-between as the work advances with regular site visits

Build Inspection
We will inspect the build as it advances, advising you when to release funds. We will send you photographs of each stage of the build and formulate reclamations to the builder for any faults or delays

Handover
We will be present with you to accept the finished house and give a further two years support should you later discover any faults

Our fees for accompanying you throughout the entire project, including our physical presence where necessary, are £9,900, and these include two years support following build completion, should you discover any faults during this period. These fees are due as and when the project advances although there is an initial deposit of £650 which is fully refundable on condition that we have not begun to undertake any work on your behalf.

*For those who wish to build outside of the south-east of France, or who wish to be physically present themselves during the project period, we can offer our administrative services. We will undertake all of the below on condition that our physical presence is not required. This means:

Our fees for these services are £3,900 with a £100 non refundable deposit. Again fees are only due as and when we undertake work on your behalf.
